XARC Net?

With club meetings at a every-other-month interval, and a majority of club members retired or not located in the Webster area, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in holding an informal net on the months we have no meeting?
There are a couple of reasons why I think it a good idea:

1. To promote on-air activity
2. promote interest in XARC

I would propose to have it on 28.337 MHz or in that area.  In the mid-70's when in another sunspot lull, some friends would meet on 21.355 MHz and we had no trouble hearing each other around the Rochester area, and there is no QRM.  On that section of 10 meters, technician class has HF SSB priveledges, so that is why I would pick 10 meters as a start.
Just an idea.  Please comment.  If people are interested, we could try and arrange a first scheduled time.
